About
San Wu joined Professor Tan's group as a research assistant in June 2016 after obtaining his master's degree. In September 2017, he became a joint Ph.D. student under the SUSTech-HIT Joint Training Program. Under the supervision of Professor Tan, he received his Ph.D. degree in January 2022. Subsequently, he worked in the group as a postdoctoral researcher and later as a senior research scholar, and was appointed as a research assistant professor in December 2024, a position he holds to date. His main research interests include catalytic asymmetric halogenation reactions, construction of axially chiral compounds, and stereocontrol of nitrogen-centered chirality. Outside of research, he is passionate about sports, particularly basketball.
